Ukrainian Stray Dog Sings With One Man Street Performer

Ukrainian Stray Dog Sings With a One Man Street Show

This Ukrainian stray dog sings to the beautiful sounds of street performer Sergei Ivanovich, getting them lots of attention from passersby!

Ivanovich, who plays his clarinet regularly in Dnipropetrovsk’s European Square, says he set up his folding chair and sat down to play when a stray dog walked over, sat down beside him, and began singing along!

The word is out that  Ivanovich took the homeless dog home, and the pair have been performing together ever since!  I hope that’s true because it’s such a great story.

Check them out in the video below!

This is a beautiful story, but the odds of a stray animal getting found and adopted and having a happy ending are actually pretty scarce.

Every year, In the United States alone, 3 million to 4 million rejected cats and dogs of all ages and breeds are euthanized.  These high numbers are the result of unplanned litters that could have been prevented by spaying or neutering.

Every year, only 20% – 30% of cats and dogs that are brought into shelters and rescues are adopted.

Every year, five out of ten dogs in shelters and seven out of ten cats in shelters are destroyed simply because there is no one to adopt them.
